What is Reviews by Supersven, and how does it work?
Reviews by Supersven is the website with honest game reviews from the gamers point of view, without any influences! This makes all reviews very detailed and objective.
Every week two new reviews will be posted.
Giveaways
Reviews by Supersven hosts at least four new giveaways each week. Starting Saturday night, ending the next Saturday 6 P.M. Central Europe time.
How can I enter a giveaway on Reviews by Supersven?
You can enter a giveaway by typing a (nick)name and an e-mail address. You will receive an email from supersven1234@live.nl with a link to confirm your e-mail address. Click on this link, or copy the link into your browser to complete your entry.
How can I gain more entries in a giveaway on Reviews by Supersven?
Every week there are varieties to gain more entries in each giveaway. For example, join our Facebook group, YouTube channel, Steam community. Give your opinion in a poll. Or by naming a game that you would like to be reviewed and posted on Reviews by Supersven. There may be more options, but they vary each week. If you enter the same game name or series in that section as you have done in previous giveaways, that entry will be deleted.
You can come back daily to place a new vote in the monthly poll.
What will Reviews by Supersven do with your e-mail address?
We use your email address to contact you, if you have won a giveaway.
If you have signed up, we will use your email address to send our weekly newsletter to you.
You can unsubscribe at any given time.
Giveaway winners
The winners will receive an email from supersven1234@live.nl to the e-mail address that you have provided. You have to claim your key by completing the instructions or replying to the e-mail. All winners are mentioned in the weekly newsletter by their (nick)name and in social media posts. If there was no (attempted) contact within 6 days, the giveaway will be re-rolled.
How does the rating system for games work?
All game will be rated from 0-10.
Games are rated on the following aspects. There are many other questions we ask per segment, but here are a few generic questions we ask ourselves.
* the first impressions before playing. This includes the store page and other available information.
* the story. It will be rated on originality, is it plausible? Please note, a story is not always
available. If this isn’t available for a game, it will be mentioned in a review.
* gameplay. Is it a game for everyone or do you need to be a seasoned player to complete this game. Is the game fair? Are there secrets to be found? What about (game breaking) bugs? Single player or is there (online) multiplayer?
* sound and graphics. Does the sound fit the gameplay? Is there a variety in sounds? Is there a voice-over during video scenes? Are there graphical bugs? How did the graphics age? Do the sound and graphics complement the game or is it a distracting factor.
* afterthoughts. Did the promises the developer made come true?
The final rating is constructed from all aspects and divided by the number of aspects.
Example: first impressions 7,8. The story 8,3. Gameplay 6,4. Sound and Graphics 5,0. Afterthoughts 8,0. The final rating is 7,1 (7,8+8,3+6,4+5,0+8,0= 33,5 -> 33,5/5= 7,1)
I will mention my personal thoughts and add a rating to this as well. Though this doesn’t count for the final rating.
Do you play all the games that you review?
Yes! My wife and I play most of the games together, though there are games that are played by either Sven or Simone because of their personal taste.
We find that it is mandatory to complete each game to create an honest review.

Do you have any employees?
No, we do everything for the website together. Though it has happened that a technical part was too difficult to solve that we had to hire a specialist.
Where is Reviews by Supersven based?
We are based in The Netherlands, in Central Europe.

Sometimes we receive games directly from a developer.
There exist platforms where you can sign up for a game, whether you get a game key depends on your motivational speech, visitors per month, YouTube subscribers and loads more!
We use Humble bundle game bundles, Xbox game pass and PlayStation plus to choose easy assessable games.
Why do I need an account on Reviews by Supersven?
It is a feature to easier place comments on reviews.
Why is my comment not immediately visible?
Even though we have protection, there are many still many bots that comment with links that lead to viruses or pornographic content. Because of this we choose to manually approve all comments. We do this once every day.
