We all have been hit by the COVID pandemic in some way. My heart goes out to everybody that has been affected or has lost a loved one by this virus.
Jergs has created a game where we can fight the corona virus. It might be a trigger for some people but it is also a good game where you can process what is happening in your current daily life. Jergs has tried to create something unique in the game world and I can tell you that he succeeded! He has made a 3D small open-world rogue-like game that it is called Lockdown Hero. You will need to find the cure and stop the corona virus! A quick breakdown of the game!
- Collect toilet paper rolls, you will need these as a currency and for quests.
- Fight the corona with alcohol but beware when the corona touches you it is game over and you will need to start from the beginning!
- Learn new skills to explore more of square city and the island
- New equipment to unlock more features in Lockdown Hero, for example, farming!
- You can also find a corona free island to relax and take a break!
- Aside from the main story, there are many side quests for you to complete.
- Extra activities in the game that you can unlock, like playing mini-games in the casino!
- Find new items to change your look, do you like sombreros?
Explore the world in Lockdown Hero and spray some alcohol on these corona viruses! But beware because killing too many corona viruses will let the corona evolve into an even more dangerous species!
Lockdown Hero has a unique feeling to it and I am loving this game. Did I mention you can also open a shop and play shopkeeper?
You can even unlock a car and drive around the city. There is so much to do in this game, Lockdown Hero even has post content after finding the cure!
Everyone that loves rogue-like or Metroidvania games will certainly love Lockdown Hero. The graphics of the characters look like Mii’s from the Wii or Animal crossing (your pick!).
