Introduction
Today, we will be clicking our way to victory in Clicker Heroes. This is also an idle game, but you can play it very actively if you wish. There are plenty of monsters that want to get tapped by you, can you tap them all? There will not be a story in this game, you tap, you ascend, you tap.
What did I think before playing Clicker Heroes?
I was looking for a fun game to just, tap away, that is when I came across clicker heroes, it even had idle rewards, and by now you should know I really like idle rewards. I mean, who doesn’t want to get something for doing nothing? Man, live would be sweet if that was real. Well, there were monsters to kill, heroes to level up, let’s check out the Google Play Store!

It promises over 1000 zones to complete, well, that is going to take ages! There are plenty of heroes and ancients to become even stronger. I guess there will be a lot of tapping involved. Otherwise, it would not be Clicker Heroes, click and level heroes, it all sounds fun and charming, let’s start playing!

I was genuinely interested in this game, it seemed like a lot of fun.
Gameplay
The gameplay is fairly simple, you either choose if you want to farm, or progress. At first, you don’t have idle rewards, you need to buy the second hero first. The first hero upgrades your tap damage, other heroes can help in that regard as well. As you buy new heroes and upgrade them, your damage per second will increase, along with the coins you will earn.
Once you get to zone 105, you will be able to ascend, this will reset your progress, at least for the heroes. But each hero soul spent will upgrade your main damage per second. You can also buy buffs with them for even more damage or gold. Soon you will also unlock mercenaries, they are quite useless, they just die anyway and reviving them is far too expensive.
It is a good investment to spend 500 rubies to double your damage per second, as you upgrade the heroes, you can learn them skills. These can be used to pass by a very strong boss monster, or go on a rampage to earn numerous coins. There are quite some ads in this game, my biggest gripe was, it is mostly the same ad.

I rated the gameplay of Clicker Heroes with a 7.8
There is a lot of active gameplay, but you will also be rewarded when you are idle. As you get stronger, your tap damage increases.
Sound and Graphics
Graphics
The graphics are fairly simple, the user interface works well. There are quite some monsters to kill. There are plenty of different sprites, but occasionally the monsters die too soon. The hero sprites are small, but they look neat, I loved how Greek heroes and Gods were used as well, bonus point from me!
Sound
The soundtracks were fine, nothing to mention, but the sound effects for the monster go very fast and they become hilarious. You can hear many mice dying while uttering their last breath.

I rated the sound and graphics of Clicker Heroes with an 8.2
This game does not get boring, there are some hard walls to cross, but you can get there with enough tapping!
What did I think after playing Clicker Heroes?
There are plenty of elements in this game, the main thing you should be going for is the ascension mechanic. This is the only way to keep increasing your damage per second and break through walls. Even though that will keep getting harder and harder. You also have relics, but you need mercenaries to find them, but they always die and it seems completely random. Reviving them is too expensive and thus getting relics is very hard.

What are my personal thoughts about Clicker Heroes?
I really liked this game, there is something fun with the idea of waking up, and then seeing how much your heroes have gathered, then just crushing their spirit by ascending. Insert evil laugh here.

- Despite this being an idle game, you don't have to leave to progress
- The sound effects are great
Cons
- The mercenaries suck and keep dying, even on low tier missions
- You will need to break some hard to break walls
If you are someone who likes clicker games, then this is one that you have to check out. You can keep on clicking forever!

played a bunch of this on steam some years ago, quite addictive but eventually i grew tired of this kind of games. clickers are not worth any of your time

I'm not sure the graphics are my style or clicker games in general, but it does look like a good one where you can just genuinely play through the game and don't have to pay any money to progress or watch too many ads!
