Introduction
Today we are going to look at Alpacalypse, it is a free to play game where you play as an alpaca, oh wait, I meant, a llama. That is right, you are Pancake, the llama! This is a small game, but I am going to see if it is worth your time. This is a platformer game, with a little bit of combat involved. Time to kick the Alpaca’s!
What did I think before playing Alpacalypse?
This is a game that I found for the free poll. This means that you can simply download it on Steam and start playing, which a lot of people might do, since this game won the poll of April. What can you expect in this game? Well, it seems to be a platformer game in which you are a llama that needs to take care of some very evil alpaca’s it is time to check out the Steam page!

This seems to be a very small and free game, as there are only ten levels to complete. It seems you can complete most of the levels in any order that you want. I wonder how much more there is to this game, there is not a lot of information on the Steam page. There is only thing left to do, play the game!

While this seems like a fun little game, it is not a long game, you can fly through this game in no time!
Story
You are a simple llama that runs a pig farm with your misses. Then comes along an Alpaca gang member, and he takes your wife, she got, tooken. There is only thing to do, become a Liam Neeson inspired Llama, and kill them all with your spit as you need to rescue your wife from being taken.

I rate the story of Alpacalypse with a 5.5.
The story is pretty boring and easy going, but with a little bit of imagination, you will come a long end!
Gameplay
The gameplay of Alpacalypse is pretty simple, as there are only ten levels to play in. there is an overworld map, although it is a small one. Each level can be played at your leisure. The further you go into the overworld map, the harder the levels will become, thus it will be the smartest thing to complete the levels in order. These levels will also net you new powers.
As you enter the levels, you will soon learn that this is a platformer that is not very hard, but is a bit unbalanced. To gain the double jump ability, you just need to jump a lot, until you get the message, you have learned how to double jump! That is seriously all there is to it. The double jump skill is very handy for later levels.
In the levels you will encounter levers to open gates. There will also be enemy alpacas, there is only one thing to do to get rid of them. Spit in their face, that will teach them! There are also bosses, and the damage is very unfair, thus these may be hard. At the end of each level, there is even a flagpole to touch. This can grant you new powers, or just show you, your score.

Sound and Graphics
Graphics
The graphics of Alpacalypse are actually quite neat, not good, not perfect, just mediocre. There are some variations in the levels and enemies but not much. This is also very small game.
Sound
the soundtracks are fun but there are only a few of them and the sound effects can get annoying after a while.

I rate the sound and graphics of Alpacalypse with a 6.7.
Nothing special to see here.
What did I think after playing Alpacalypse?
This game is very short, but I did enjoy it quite a lot. There is not much to cover as you can finish this game in under an hour. I just think it is funny how you can walk over the overworld map and pick any level, then you can spit some balls of spit at your enemies! The stronger enemies also need to be avoided, your health is going to be gone in no time!

There are free games that you can sink hours upon hours in, it all depends on your point of view, but it could have been a bit too longer as it is, too short.
