Disney Mirrorverse review

Why is there always a paywall?

Disney Mirrorverse review

Introduction

Today we are going to dive into a Disney game for the mobile! It is called Disney Mirrorverse! As this is a mobile game, you will have energy, which means limited play time. There are many Disney characters to collect that can help you fight the fractured monsters in this game! In this review, we are going to take a look at the paywall, can you play this game free to play? Or do you just need an insane amount of luck? This time, there is even a story!

What did I think before playing Disney Mirrorverse?

Disney Mirrorverse is a game that I stumbled upon by accident as there was an ad for this game will be reviewing other mobile games. As I actually like Disney characters! What characters will there be in this game and how much choice do you have? It seemed to be some kind of RPG game where you also need to level your characters. As I did not have a lot of information to go on, I visited the main page of Disney Mirrorverse!

The official Disney Mirrorverse page

https://disneymirrorverse.com/
On this site you will learn that his game has real time combat as you collect many characters and level them up while fighting through the story. You will need to help with defending the stellar mirror as you fight many of the fractured! It also seems that there will be dungeons to plunder while using special moves that fit each character. It is time to make your own unique team of Disney heroes!

Rating

I rate Disney Mirrorverse with a 7.8 before playing.
This game seems like a fun way to waste some time, I am worried however about the pay wall that I am going to encounter.

Story

The story starts with Mickey fighting the fractured, but there are too many to fight, and he needs your help, there are quite a few chapters to play through but with each level the difficulty will increase as you get a short burst of the story.

Rating

I rate the story of Disney Mirrorverse with a 5.9.
The story feels very weak to me and since it is a mobile game, it will simply never end!

Gameplay

The gameplay starts out simple, use a hero to beat up some fractured. As You delve deeper into the game, you will get more heroes and need to make a perfect team. In each battle, you need to make sure that your characters do not die. Meaning, if you take two characters with low health, you will surely fall. There are some characters that can heal, but you will need to level those skills by gaining special items and leveling your characters.

As you complete levels, you will gather motes in all kinds of different shapes and tiers. These can be used to level up a character that you want. There are also special levels that you can complete many times for extra motes. You do need a lot of energy for this, though! To rank up your characters, you will need special gems, which will also cost a lot of energy. Unless your character has four stars, it is pathetically weak and will get destroyed, unless it is a tank.

To get new characters, you will need crystals. Which can be gained by playing the game however, if you really want good characters, to actually play the game and get four-star characters, you are going to be paying big time! Most of my crystals were giving junk, even the crystals that I got in events! The fun of this game stopped very fast, the combat was also boring to me, it was better to just put in auto and see the characters fight for me!

Rating

I rate the gameplay of Disney Mirrorverse with a 5.8.
The energy mechanic is always annoying, just as you are getting into the swing, you need to pay to keep playing.

Sound and Graphics

Graphics

The graphics are quite good for a mobile game. There is one problem though, most of the battlegrounds are just the same one over and over. The characters have amazing models with special attacks. These do get boring after the millionth time of watching them. Just select a battle and let it roll while you do something else.

Sound

The music annoyed me more than I had expected, it got a quick mute button as the sound effects were annoying as well.

Rating

I rate the sound and graphics of Disney Mirrorverse with a 7.2.
It is pretty to look at, but that is about it!

What did I think after playing Disney Mirrorverse?

While I did have a blast for a short moment, it was insane to try and get four-star characters. Thus, it was impossible to get the right team to move on with the story. The few four-star characters that I received were mostly useless to what I was trying to do. Then you need motes to level everyone up, you also need books to level their skills, and then you also need signets to level up their super skill.

Needless to say, it was one chaotic mess while trying to increase your power. Most of the time, my energy was empty within a few minutes. While you might get a few energy items now and then, you mostly need to buy them with real money, which I did not. If you are super into Disney, and you have a lot of patience, this game might be perfect for you!

Rating

I rate Disney Mirrorverse with a 6.7 after playing.
This was just fun for a few days, then it quickly declined into a boring, I need to do the dailies game.

What are my personal thoughts about Disney Mirrorverse

For almost the whole time that I was playing, I was just trying to get the right team by summoning characters with hard-earned crystals. This did not work at all, since I was still busy doing this after almost a month. Then I just up and quitted the game.

Rating

My personal Rating of Disney Mirrorverse with a 3.3
It was all fun, until I hit the paywall.

Pros

Cons

While this could have been a fun game, if it was a console version without paywalls, or energy. It is a mobile game and you will need to throw money at it to win.
