Introduction
Are you ready to skate and make some sick combos? There is one caveat though, you are a bird! Can you skatebird your way through this game? There are multiple levels where you will need to complete missions! There are also multiple birds that will grant you missions, as you complete missions you will also find clothing for your bird. Yes, you can dress up your bird!
What did I think before playing Skatebird?
Skatebird is a skating game that is also for children, as most of the options can be tuned for any age! I was very interested if this was true and started the game as it was on game pass. I did need more information before playing. If this was a simple skating game, it would be fun but nothing special, thus I visited the Steam page for the most information!

It is apparent that you need to skate like a tiny hawk to unlock new levels! There is a big friend that you need to help with skating, can you complete the missions as you skate your way through multiple levels? The controls seem to be the same as other skating games, with the ability to tweak a lot of the game options.

It seems just like another skating game, but this time around with birds!
Story
The story starts with your bird wanting to play with a big friend, but he has been down and does not come around anymore, your bird decides to turn things around to make sure that the big friend would come back again!

I rate the story of Skatebird with a 4.2
While it is great that there is a story, it is barely a story at all.
Gameplay
As you start out the game, it might be wise to enter the character creator, here you can choose which bird you want to be! After you have chosen your bird, you can also equip accessories! After you have chosen your bird, you can start skating! Before you know it, you will find your first mission!
For most of the missions, you have a time limit, but you can disable it if that bothers you. While skating, you can do some sick tricks like flipping your board, or maybe some grab tricks! If you are more interested in grinding on a rail, or maybe doing manual, you need to balance your bird! As you complete missions, you will unlock new levels!

I rate the gameplay of Skatebird with a 7.3
While the gameplay is not very innovative, you can tailor the gameplay for every age, or skill level!
Sound and Graphics
Graphics
The graphics of this game are quite good, who does not like birbs getting dressed up and skating away? The levels all look different from each other with new special tricks to perform! Grind over a bed, grind over a television, or maybe even burn down the internet! Birds can be very destructive, you know!
Sound
If you like tweeting birbs, then you will like the sound effects! However, the soundtracks are done in the same way as other skating games, there is a bird radio with tweeting amazingness!

I rate the sound and graphics of Skatebird with a 7.8
Who does not like chirping birds on tiny skateboards? In every level you can find even more clothing for your birb!
What did I think after playing Skatebird?
It does not matter whether I am Tony Hawk, or a Tiny Hawk, I will always fail sick combos at the end due to a stupid mistake! I did enjoy the levels as they are all different, I am also looking forward to the new levels that the developers are currently designing. The settings can be toned down for every skill and age, which I think is a good bonus!
There are many skate opportunities in every level, but also audio tapes that you can collect in each level! If that is not your thing. You might want to collect skateboard items! There was only one audio tape that I could not collect, despite being able to do multiple ollies in a single jump!

I rate Skatebird with a 7,2 after playing.
I do hope that the new levels will be added soon, but luckily there are already a lot of missions in each level! Some are fairly easy, why others can be hard!
What are my personal thoughts about Skatebird?
The most fun that I had was dressing up my bird with new accessories, my birb eventually looked like a wizard on a skateboard! Although, he did not magically complete sick combos!

My personal Rating of Skatebird is a 6.8
I literally suck at sports game, but despite that, I managed to complete all missions! I am looking forward to a new level though, I hope the seagull comes back in the new level!

- Some audio tapes are hard to collect!
- Some missions are hard to complete within the time limit
Did you know that instead of a manual, you can also perform a monching technique to maintain combos!

I suspect that people looking for an experience that is more similar to the Tony Hawk series may be disappointed in this game, but this game sounds perfect both for people and young kids just getting into this genre of games and for people looking for a cute and more casual experience!
