Introduction
Today we are going to look at a game called Clusterfuck, oh wait I got that wrong. I meant to say Clustertruck. What a name, to be fair, what I said first, is what you will experience in this game. The trucks will keep colliding with each other. As any other sane person would do in this situation, you are going to jump over them. Why!? Who knows, maybe you are some kind of super agent, or an alien, I have no clue, since there is no story here. Just jump over them trucks and reach the goal!
What did I think before playing Clustertruck?
I did not know what to expect from this game before playing it, but it seemed like a fun platforming game. However, this time the platforms are moving, since they are trucks. Why are there so many trucks? I have no clue, there does seem to be some kind of scoring system and point collection. To find out more, we are going to the Steam page!

It seems we are going to start off easy, but as we will progress through the levels, they will become harder and more evil. However, it must also mean there is a way to make your life easier. It seems there is a level editor for the people who like that. I still wonder, why are there are so many trucks? Well, we are just going to use them as platforms, because, why not?

At a first glance, there does not seem too much to unpack here, you jump over trucks!
Gameplay
The thing that you will be doing the most in this game, is jumping over the trucks. That is where it all starts, with simple truck jumping. It is important to try to do some epic tricks. Like jumping off a flying truck, this is going to give you style points. Completing the level as fast as possible is also a good idea, since that is going to give you more points. You are going to need these later on.
There are multiple worlds to go through, with each world, it is going to become much harder to complete the levels. It starts with avoiding some rocks, maybe jump over a bridge. Before you know it, there are going to be hammers swinging around to break those trucks. I hope there were no people in them, they would be very dead. Then you have lasers, other things that will make it much harder to reach the end of a level.
Those style points you have gathered are going to come in handy now. With these style points you can buy double jump for example, or even a grappling hook! There are other upgrades like a time control. However, you need to do some sick tricks to get the better upgrades. You better keep on jumping!

Sound and Graphics
Graphics
The graphics are very basic, there are trucks, a lot of them. The other things in this game feel and look pretty basic. They could have used a lot of polishing. However, you should just focus on the goal! Try not to break a leg.
Sound
The soundtracks are not entertaining at all. They are repetitive and boring, the same goes for the sound effects.

I rate the sound and graphics of Clustertruck with a 5.5.

What did I think after playing Clustertruck?
While I had fun when playing this game, it gets boring and old pretty fast. You jump over the trucks, until you clear the level. Then you will repeat this process for every new world that you are going to find yourself in. While it is a good time to waste some time, it does not feel like a long term game.
There is one thing that I did like a lot, the crashing of all the trucks, for some reason, it felt very satisfying to see all those trucks ram into each other! Later on, they are going to get destroyed, that is fun!

There are some fun mechanics here but nothing too exciting, just keep on jumping!
What are my personal thoughts about Clustertruck?
While fun for a brief moment, seeing all those trucks collide, it got boring very fast. The upgrades take long to gather. There does not seem to be a lot of progression in this game. It did remind me of a Dutch movie where there is a serial killer in a white van. I believe it was called Bumperkleef.

- The graphics and soundtracks of this game are very basic.
- This game can become boring after a while.
- The upgrades are rather expensive.
- The difficulty spikes from time to time.
I still do not have many answers about why you are jumping over trucks, however, if you are looking for a fast-paced platformer game, then this might be the game that you are looking for.
