Nobody Saves the World Review

Introduction

Today we are going to save the world, but you are a nobody! Can you still save the world? That is what we are going to find out today in the game, Nobody Saves the World! This is a quite big world, but there are some strong enemies, you will need to level up your forms, which include a nobody form, but luckily you will also unlock new forms like a guard or a ranger! These forms need to be trained to unlock even more forms!

What did I think before playing Nobody Saves the World?

I was looking for new games on the Game pass service of Xbox! Nobody Saves the World popped out of all the games, it looked like a fun role playing game where you need to explore the world and also save it! There are also a lot of quests to complete and even guilds to join! After training up your forms, you can conquer dungeons but for more information, we went to the Steam page for more information!

The Steam page

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1432050/Nobody_Saves_the_World/
The dungeons are randomly generated, which is always fun! There are also a lot of form abilities that you can combine with all the forms! But for that you need to complete tasks, there is also an egg form! What does this egg become? You can see that in the video that we made of clearing a dungeon!

Rating

I rate Nobody Saves the World with an 8.1 before playing.
If you are looking for a fun role playing game, this seems like a fun game!

Story

The world is ending but no one knows why, and there is only one person that can save the world, a nobody. It is your task to find out what exactly happened that is brining the end, and then end the threat, once and for all!

Rating

I rate the story of Nobody Saves the World with a 6.7
The story is quite simple, another take on saving the world, but this time as a nobody!

Gameplay

The gameplay of Nobody Saves the World is quite unique, you will need to take on different forms that all need to be trained. Some forms are quite odd, like the Slug or even the Zombie! A lot of the abilities can also be used by other forms! To gain new skills. You will need to complete tasks for each form to gain experience points!

For some forms you will need a very high rank which can only be reached by progressing the story, but before you do that, you can also upgrade current skills. For that you will need to get upgrade tokens which can be found randomly when killing enemies! Completing a dungeon over and over will net you a lot of experience points and upgrade tokens, along with some cash!

With all that cash gathered, you can visit the shop, these shops are scattered all over the place! These shop will sell you status upgrade, quests and even new passive skills! If you have the coin! These quests are very important, as they will net you a lot of experience points to level up!

Rating

I rate the gameplay of Nobody Saves the World with an 8.7.
The gameplay is quite unique, the world also has many dungeons, but one of the biggest flaws is that you cannot train forms in legendary dungeons.

Sound and Graphics

Graphics

The graphics of Nobody Saves the World is quite good, the forms are quite unique, there are also a lot of different environments to explore. The dungeons are also quite odd, this whole game is odd! There are dungeons that take place inside a dead dragon or even inside the belly of a whale! Maybe you want something more mechanic? There is also a robot dungeon or even a giant pumpkin!

Sound

There are a lot of soundtracks along with many sound effects! There was nothing wrong with the soundtracks.

Rating

I rate the sound and graphics of Nobody Saves the World with a 7.8.
The different dungeons and environments are fun to explore!

What did I think after playing Nobody Saves the World?

The characters were quite odd but likeable, some of them are crazy though! I did like doing all the tasks to gain experience for all kinds of different forms! There is also a new game+ for you to enjoy! The idea of combining multiple abilities from different forms was also very fun! This allowed for a lot of combinations!

The only big problem is that you cannot train forms in legendary dungeons, as most of the legendary dungeons have strong monsters. Most of them also have wards, these can be destroyed by using the right attack! This is why combining skills is important!

Rating

I rate Nobody Saves the World with an 8.3 after playing!
If you are looking for a fun role playing game, this can be your jam!

What are my personal thoughts of Nobody Saves the World?

I had a lot of fun when playing through the story of Nobody Saves the World, a lot of the dungeons were fun. The quests were done in a good fashion, the guilds are also fun to join and help but for some quests, I had no idea what to do, and it took quite some time to figure out!

Rating

My personal Rating of Nobody Saves the World is a 7.6
While not the best game, I had a lot of fun when playing!

Last Words

Pros

Cons

The farther that you get in the game, the more that the land gets corrupted. Which in turn means more strong and evil monsters! If you are looking for a fun role playing game, in which you can take on multiple forms, aka classes, then Nobody Saves the World might be the perfect game for you!

Final Rating

7.9/10

7.9

This game sounds really fun! I like the idea of being able to play as different classes whenever you want and being able to combine different abilities of the classes to see what you get. And it’s nice that even a Nobody gets the chance to save the world!

Great review sven! Doesn’t sound like my kind of game or I’d enjoy it but I’m sure this is a treat for roguelike enjoyers!

For me, the story is the most important factor in the game. So it’s a little disappointing.
However, I added it to my wishlist because the play seemed interesting.
